Bansko will offer new festivals during this summer
Monday, 15 February 2010Bansko aspires to be not only attractive for lovers of winter sports but also offers various other attractions during the summer season. The development of the cultural tourism in Bansko is one of the objectives of the municipality in which it works with many goals.
Among the fans of the jazz fesitival, which famoulsy runs from 8th to 13th August, famous names are also included in the jazz festival. Determining the flow of tourists there is a positive increase of followers in this period.
During the summer months the Mountain Film Festival and Theater Festivals are held. So Bansko remains a favorite destination of tourists in the summer.
The Mayor of Bansko Alexander Kravarov said, there will be two new cultural events organized during the the summer this year. These are the participants of the festival theaters, some of which have already applied for participation are six groups from Europe and others from the festival of classical music.
The development of cultural tourism has the cooperation with the municipality and with the help from many sponsors and donors.
