Book of memories by the alpinist Walter Bonatti to be presented in Bansko
Monday, 2 November 2009The book "My memories of the climbs” by the alpinist Walter Bonatti will be presented in Bansko.
Walter Bonatti is considered the biggest mountain climber in the world during the 50’s and 60’s of the 20th century.
Author of the “phenomenal climbs in the Alps”, had contributed decisively to the Italian premier in the year of 1954, the most beautiful and most difficult Eight-thousander - K-2 / 8611 meters/.
He is the "Guru" of the mountaineering world that influenced generations of climbers from around the world. He is one of the most talented writers of the mountaineering theme.
The presentation will take place on Saturday at 17:00 pm in the Salon community center Nikola Vaptsarov. The press office of the municipal administration.
