Bansko Municipality organizes culinary fest
Tuesday, 24 February 2009The folklore performance "This is Bansko" and Bansko's culinary fest will be held in the resort tomorrow, announced the municipality administration. The initiative is being held a second consecutive year with the purpose to show the most popular dishes and wines, present on the table in every home.
Bansko cuisine offers extremely big variety of dishes having curious names such as kapama, chomlek, sache, lamb specialties, barbecue, sundries, home and round loaf bread, katino meze, kustureta with kazhely, dropka, smenka, kukurini, sulovra, katak, tsrekulychi, tseluvarchi and others. If you visit Bansko don't forget to try some of them.
The folklore ensemble to the town hall and folk singer Vasko Lazarov will take care for the for the good mood of the guests. The culinary event is scheduled for tomorrow - 18:00 square Nikola Vaptsarov.
